With our new search screen – document access from oneSOURCE will be faster and easier than ever!
In early September, the team at oneSOURCE, your partner in patient safety, will be launching an updated user platform providing you even better access to the manufacturers’ information you need, stored within our six document databases. The system is very intuitive, and when we launch, you can continue to use your current user ID and password. The first thing you’ll notice is the new sleek, modern user interface. Then, with your first keystroke, you’ll enjoy a simpler, more intuitive user experience with lightning-fast search results, thanks to these features:
Instead of filling out multiple fields and making other dropdown selections, there’s a single search bar where you can simply enter a keyword, document name, model number, manufacturer, product category or descriptor. Enter any one of those items and you can see search results immediately.
As you enter information into the search bar, you’ll see relevant suggestions you can choose to accept and click.
The system looks past misspelled words, inappropriate synonyms or other entry errors, and it will still pull up the right documents without missing a beat.
We’ve incorporated improved algorithms and weighted search scores, so you’ll see only the most relevant search results. More often than not, you’ll see the document you need right at the top of that short list.
If you choose, you can still narrow your search at the outset by applying filters – identifying a specific database, manufacturer, product category or document type, for example.
The new card view displays the information you need in a more user-friendly, easy-to-read format. But if you prefer the current table view, you’ll still have that option as well.
We said it already, but we’ll say it again. The new system is fast. You’ll see search results nearly instantaneously. No more clocking.
We’ve also improved the security measures behind the scenes. The new system features a more secure, token-based API for our partners as well as integrations, improved internal document security and internal processes to keep user accounts secure. We instituted a higher level of server redundancy and scalability to increase reliability and, yes, speed.
We can’t wait to hear what you think of this enhanced user platform. We’re confident it will help you be even more efficient as you perform your important function of protecting patient safety!

The regulatory and accreditation agencies are just as adamant that IFUs are readily available to your Sterile Processing and Operating Room technicians who handle materials implanted into patients – including biological and non-biological tissues and devices.
Biologic tissue Instructions For Use (IFUs) include critical information regarding the storage, handling and preparation of sterilized human-, bovine-, and porcine-derived materials. IFUs for nonbiological implants include similar preparation instructions for prostheses and devices as well as re-sterilization instructions for certain materials (e.g., screws or rods) unused in given procedure that can be used in a future case.
