Salt Lake City, UT, October, 2014 —oneSOURCE has been selected to provide its online database subscription service for manufacturers’ Instruction for Use (IFU) documents to Veterans Health Administration hospitals across the country.
The five year contract provides 154 U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs medical centers access to the oneSOURCE database of IFUs for the cleaning, decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments as well as the manuals required for the cleaning and maintenance of equipment. From 2010-2014, the VA previously contracted with oneSOURCE and its Surgical Instrument database. The new VA contract includes the oneSOURCE Equipment database which is now required for accreditation.
